Important: Upcoming Fee Changes Effective July 1, 2026

We want to let you know about some changes to our fees, starting 1 July 2026. We are sharing this now so you have time to understand the changes and prepare, and so you can ask us anything you need to.

We review our fees once a year so we can keep supporting you with the care you deserve. We have kept this year’s changes as small as we reasonably can, while continuing to invest in quality services and support for you.

To put our fees in context, the Australian Psychological Society recommends a fee of $318 for a standard session in 2026 to 2027. Our fees stay well below that. Keeping good psychological support within reach for our community matters to us.

If you use Medicare

If you have a Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP, you can claim a Medicare rebate. You pay us the session fee, and we process the rebate for you, which goes straight back into your bank account. The table below shows your out-of-pocket cost from 1 July 2026.

ServiceSession feeOut-of-pocket cost
Registered Psychologist$200$98.45
Clinical Registrar$220$118.45
Clinical Psychologist$290$140.95

If you use private health insurance

If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim a rebate through your fund. Please check directly with your insurer to see what you are entitled to.

A reminder about cancellations

This is also a good time to remind you of our cancellation policy. When an appointment is missed or cancelled at short notice, that time cannot be offered to someone else who needs it.

If you need to change or cancel, please tell us at least 2 full working days before your appointment. Weekends and public holidays do not count as working days. For example, if your appointment is on a Monday, please tell us by the end of Wednesday the week before.

If you tell us too late, or you do not attend, the full session fee applies. You can read the full policy, including the day-by-day guide, on our pricing page.

Questions are welcome
