Nicole Robinson

Director and Principal Clinical Psychologist

Nicole understands that life can feel overwhelming at times — whether you’re managing strong emotions, navigating relationship pressures, coping with work stress, or adjusting to significant change.

She works collaboratively with children, adolescents, adults, and families, drawing on evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed frameworks. Nicole tailors support to each person’s goals, values, and stage of life.

With more than 20 years of experience, Nicole provides clinical leadership at Star4kids and is committed to improving access to quality psychological care for children and families across Southwest Sydney.

As a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, a Board-approved supervisor, and a member of the APS Clinical Psychology Interest Group, she contributes to professional development by supervising 4 + 2 and 5 + 1 provisional psychologists, clinical registrars, and early-career clinicians.

Nicole values inclusive and culturally responsive practice and acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands where she works, paying respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and their ongoing connection to Country, community, and culture.

Nicole Harte

Psychologist, Clinical Registrar

Nicole works with adolescents, young adults, and adults who want to better understand themselves and find practical ways to manage life’s challenges. Her clients often describe feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain about how to move forward in their relationships, studies, or work.

She supports people experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, obsessive–compulsive difficulties, trauma, and relationship issues. Nicole offers a calm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and develop strategies that promote meaningful, lasting change.

Her approach is individualised and evidence-based. Nicole integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), adapting each framework to suit her clients’ unique needs, goals, and readiness for change. She values the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of effective psychological work and aims to create a sense of safety, trust, and partnership throughout the process.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Psychology (First-Class Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology, and is currently completing her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology and her Clinical Psychology endorsement.

Michael Bennetts

Registered Psychologist

Michael is a Registered Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, and workplace stress.

He places a strong emphasis on early intervention and takes a person-centred approach, tailoring therapy to each individual’s needs and goals.

Michael draws on evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. He is committed to creating a supportive, non-judgmental space and works collaboratively with clients to build on their strengths and support long-term wellbeing.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and is currently completing his Master’s in Clinical Psychology. He is registered with AHPRA and is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Fiona Wass

Fiona Wass

Registered Psychologist

Fiona is a Registered Psychologist with a Master’s in Professional Psychology from Macquarie University. She works with children, families, and adults, providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.

Her client-centred approach empowers individuals to better understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives.

Fiona draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based techniques. She has a particular interest in supporting clients with anxiety, depression, and behavioural or emotional regulation difficulties.

Fiona is registered with AHPRA and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Lina Vallejo

Lina is a Registered Psychologist with a Colombian background who speaks both Spanish and English and supports clients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

She works with children, adolescents, parents, and families, including those involved in out-of-home care, and has experience supporting presentations such as trauma, grief, attachment-related difficulties, and emotional or behavioural challenges.

Lina provides a warm, safe, and respectful space where clients feel heard. When working with children, she uses developmentally appropriate, creative, and play-based strategies to support emotional expression.

Her practice is informed by evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-informed strategies, and play-based techniques. Lina is registered with AHPRA and practises at The ProActive Psychology Practice.

Julie Vinh

Provisional Psychologist

Julie is a Provisional Psychologist who works with a wide range of clients, supporting those experiencing depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship difficulties, and workplace stress.

She has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Intellectual Disabilities. Julie is committed to early intervention and provides a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe and supported.

Her person-centred approach draws on evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma-informed CBT, and Mindfulness.

Julie is provisionally registered with AHPRA and is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, allowing her to connect deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about helping others improve their quality of life and reach their personal goals.

Nicholas is a provisional psychologist with a Master’s in Professional Psychology from the University of Wollongong. He brings a calm, relaxed approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space for clients to work through their challenges.

Nicholas is passionate about helping clients improve their self-awareness, emotional regulation, decision-making, and social communication skills. His work focuses on building confidence and structure in both personal and professional areas of life.

He also has experience conducting cognitive and behavioural assessments for clients across the lifespan.

Kellie is a provisional psychologist with a Vietnamese background. She is registered with AHPRA and is completing her degree at Western Sydney University. She works with adults and families dealing with emotion regulation, school stress and family communication concerns. Her style is steady and collaborative, creating a space where people feel heard and respected.

Many clients reach out when change feels hard or when pressures at home or school build up. These moments can bring confusion or tension, and people often want clear support to make sense of their feelings.

Kellie uses evidence-informed approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and play-based methods for younger clients. Each session focuses on practical steps that fit the client’s needs and circumstances.

Adults and families can expect open discussion about concerns, options and next steps. Early sessions often involve clarifying what matters most and working together to plan suitable support.

Shaun is a Provisional Psychologist who supports children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health concerns. He has a particular interest in working with presentations such as anxiety, low mood, attentional differences, neurodiversity, stress, and the impacts of trauma, and aims to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

Shaun’s work is informed by evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused approaches, trauma-informed care, and play-based strategies where appropriate. He tailors sessions to the individual, drawing on developmentally informed and practical strategies to support emotional skills, coping, and engagement in therapy. His warm, collaborative, and client-centred style focuses on working alongside clients in ways that respect their strengths, goals, and individual needs.

Shaun holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), is registered with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist, and is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology. He is committed to inclusive, respectful practice and to providing culturally responsive care for people from diverse backgrounds.

Samarah is a registered Psychologist with extensive experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and neurodivergence—including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.

With five years of experience in the disability sector, Samarah brings a deeply empathetic and practical approach to therapy. She supports clients through behaviour support, social skills training, and parent coaching, always aiming to empower individuals to live with greater confidence and independence.

Her work is grounded in evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), which she tailors to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Samarah holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pakistan and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, and is passionate about making a positive and lasting impact on her clients’ wellbeing.

Dahlia is a warm and professional admin assistant at ProActive Psychology, currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology at Macquarie University with plans to become a clinical psychologist.

With Italian and Lebanese heritage, she values cultural diversity and aims to create a welcoming, inclusive space for all clients. Dahlia’s gentle, supportive nature helps people feel at ease, and she is dedicated to making every visitor feel heard, respected, and cared for.
